Since October is often associated with Edgar Allan Poe, I thought it would be fun to invite a speaker to talk about him.
The meeting will start at 1pm on 9 October. It is open to the public, and you can join via this link:
About the topic
In Poe @ UVA, Kristin Kisska takes us back in time to 1826. She introduces us to the seventeen-year-old Edgar Allan Poe during his ten months’ tenure studying at the University of Virginia. Learn who he was and how he lived before he became the mercurial literary legend we revere today.
